Right behind our apartments in Lana near Meran you will find the famous "Gaulschlucht", a place of Power with the castle Braunsberg and the artists' promenade - a wonderful place to relax.

Lana

Lana is a beautiful village with a special pedestrian zone: bars, cafés, restaurants, boutiques, it has variety of beautiful shoe shops, bookstores and much more. In 10 minutes you are in Merano and in 20 minutes by car you are in the city centre of Bolzano.

Lana is very central, it is the best starting point for hiking: Waalwege, Vigiljoch, Völlan - the hottest tips are available on site at the reception.

Here is an El Dorado for bikers, cyclists, classic cars and pass road lovers, because the entrance to the Gampen Pass is right in front of the house.
Our personal favourite route: Lana - Gampen Pass - Fondo - Mendel Pass - Lake Kaltern - Appiano - Lana.
